Our Spanish was rusty
and we were road weary and tired.
On the hills of green heaven, a jungle castle inspired,
flanked by tall palm trees, and built with such love.
White washed in its beauty, highlighted by sun,
caressed by the ocean breeze, a cool negro rum.

The children were sandy and washed by the waves
The family was closest during those days.
Our friends were amongst us below and above
for food, family, music and drink
there was such a love.
Federico and Zilda what a beautiful pair
Brazil and Peru and De Moines, if you dare.

This place in the world is now important to me
I think and I dream of what it might be
Neruda I’m not, and so I may say
That Nuestro Sueño is most special
And worth the trip and the stay!
